The catered chalet concept
For those of you who are new to catered chalets. We thought it would be useful to explain the concept. Catered chalets usually offer breakfast afternoon tea with cake and an evening meal with wine on six days of the week with one day when the staff have a day off and guests look after themselves, usually makeing their own breakfast and eating out in the evening at a local restaurant.
The Chalet Pisteside catering follows the above format, but what separates the catering here is the quality. Breakfast is provided everyday and consists of a choice of cereals, croissants and breads, fruit, porridge and a cooked option every day. Afternoon tea (6 days/week) won't disappoint with a freshly baked cake and a selection of teas and filter coffee waiting on the table for your arrival.ve Dinner starts with canapes and cocktail drinks followed by a gourmet four course meal all accompanied with unlimited fine red and white wine.
We are very happy to discuss requirements for vegetarians and special diets prior to your arrival and depending on parents' wishes, children are offered early suppers.

Local restaurants, bars and night life
Restaurants: there are seven restaurants in Les Coches, offering a variety of food so there is something to suit all tastes and pockets. Neighbouring Montchavin (20 minute walk, or free bus ride) has a further selection of restaurants.
Nightlife: "The Last One", a bar in Les Coches, offers weekly live music and for those who like to party into the early hours, the "Roxor" is a late night bar (4:00am!) with music (occasionally live) and dancing and also has pool tables and darts. There is also a night club in Montchavin.
